Sysco Environmental Ltd conducted an indoor air quality assessment at aPrimary School in Rugeley due to complaints of unusual odours, stuffiness, and headaches. Following WHO and HSE guidelines, we assessed airborne moulds, VOCs, carbon monoxide, particulates, temperature, and humidity. Findings showed indoor mould concentrations were lower than outdoors, with minimal health risks from VOCs and zero carbon monoxide levels. However, temperature and humidity levels often exceeded recommendations, causing discomfort. We recommended improving fresh air supply, using humidifiers, and adding house plants. Our detailed assessment and tailored recommendations ensure a healthier environment for the school's occupants.
