Monitoring stations are usually fixed to secure posts or fencing around the site boundary, ideally at breathing height — about 1.5 to 2 metres off the ground. They need a stable power source or solar panel, and placement should consider wind direction and nearby receptors like homes or walkways.
Before installation, a short site visit is done to decide the best locations. Once installed, units run continuously and require periodic checks and filter changes. It's not complicated, but positioning and maintenance make all the difference in good data.
