Sysco Environmental Ltd conducted a project in Leeds to measure the exposure of mercury decontamination operatives working in the underground areas of a decommissioned hospital. The operatives were tasked with removing old waste disposal pipes that were contaminated with mercury. Our team performed a thorough assessment, utilising advanced monitoring techniques to accurately measure mercury exposure levels among the operatives. We ensured that all safety protocols were strictly followed and that the operatives were adequately protected throughout the decontamination process.
