Sysco Environmental Ltd conducted a mould survey and mould testing at a residential property in Stoke-on-Trent. The assessment aimed to evaluate the indoor air quality and identify the extent of mould contamination. Visual inspections, moisture mapping, and air sampling were performed. The findings indicated poor indoor air quality on the ground floor, with fungal contamination covering 1.5m². Elevated moisture levels in the skirting boards were identified as the root cause. Recommendations included removing existing mould, performing a deep clean of the ground floor, and implementing air filtration and sterilisation. Dehumidifiers were also advised to aid in the drying process and improve overall indoor air quality.
