What are considered by UK health and safety as safe levels of radon?

In the UK, the "Action Level" for radon is 200 Bq/m³ (becquerels per cubic metre). If on average levels exceed this, action is recommended to reduce exposure. The "Target Level" is 100 Bq/m³, meaning efforts should be made to keep levels below this where possible.
