A recent evaluation of the air quality, at a Glasgow location aimed to maintain a workplace environment for staff by monitoring pollutants like Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The assessment targeted areas such as the Mac Lab and spray room where activities, like 3D printing and spray painting take place.
The tests included both monitoring the air personally and statically and fortunately all findings fell within ranges, However a few observations pointed out areas, for enhancement For example it was mentioned that the current respiratory protection might not be adequate, against chemicals suggesting an upgrade to more suitable equipment.
The current ventilation system is working as intended; however regular testing and maintenance are vital, to ensuring its efficiency. Although the air quality is considered safe at the moment monitoring these aspects closely will promote an environment in the run.
