In December 2024, an Indoor Air Quality Assessment was conducted at a commercial office building in Warwick to check air quality and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for employees. The focus was on measuring carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde and dust particulates to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
The results were positive, with all tested air contaminants within safe limits. COâ‚‚ levels indicated good ventilation, while VOC and formaldehyde concentrations were well below recommended thresholds, meaning no indoor air quality concerns. Dust levels were also found to be at normal background levels, indicating effective air filtration and cleanliness.
Since the air quality was already in great shape, no immediate actions were required. However, to maintain these good conditions, the report recommended regular ventilation system servicing, allowing fresh air flow where possible and implementing a cleaning schedule to keep airborne particles at a minimum.
With these proactive steps, the office can continue to provide a healthy and comfortable workspace for employees, ensuring long-term compliance with indoor air quality standards.
