During this project we collected air samples from a location in Exeter to assess the presence of mould spores in zones with the aim of determining the impact on indoor air quality caused by high concentrations of airborne mould spores.
We utilised trap techniques to gather samples from locations on both the ground and upper levels of the building structure.
Sysco analysed these samples to identify the types and quantities of spores, the findings varied; certain areas exhibited levels of typical indoor mould spores while others fell within expected ranges.
The analysis was deemed useful for making sure that appropriate measures are taken to maintain air quality and to address any worries regarding exposure to mould spores.
