Our laboratory recently analysed a Mould Test Kit Plus. The DIY test kit was conducted at a property in Oxford to evaluate indoor air quality and identify potential mould concerns. The assessment included sampling from various locations, including the shower room, main living area, kitchen and garden.
The results showed some presence of common mould species, including Aspergillus and Penicillium, but at levels not considered harmful. The overall indoor air quality was deemed safe, with no significant fungal contamination detected.
While exposure to these mould spores was low, maintaining good ventilation and regular cleaning will help prevent any potential future growth, ensuring a healthier indoor environment.
