Is mould tape lift analysis as accurate as mould spore trap analysis?

Tape lift and spore trap analyses serve different purposes and are not directly interchangeable. Tape lift analysis is accurate for determining the presence and types of mould growing on surfaces, but it does not quantify airborne concentrations. In contrast, spore trap analysis provides a snapshot of airborne spores in a specific environment. For accuracy, both methods are reliable within their respective scopes, and often used together for a comprehensive assessment.
