Diesel Emmision Exposure Assessment During Manufacturing in Kettering

Sysco Environmental Ltd recently conducted a project in Kettering for a manufacturer of lifting equipment, focusing on the exposure risks to maintenance operatives working in the Test Area. Typically, around ten operatives carry out checks on lifting platform equipment, which requires running engines for extended periods. Since the lifts need to be tested at full height, the work is performed outside throughout the year, exposing operatives to various components of diesel emissions during vehicle manoeuvring and engine testing.
