What does a typical lead exposure monitoring visit involve?

What does a typical lead exposure monitoring visit involve?

A typical lead exposure monitoring visit includes a walkthrough of the site, identifying tasks and materials that may pose a lead risk. If air monitoring is required, we’ll place small sampling pumps on selected workers to capture airborne lead during their shift. For biological monitoring, a nurse or occupational health technician may take blood samples. We'll also review any existing safety controls and check that they meet legal requirements. After the visit, we provide a detailed report with results and practical recommendations.
