How long does LEV testing take?

The time it takes for LEV testing to be undertaken depends on the following factors: 

1. Number of hoods or extraction points
   – Each hood must be inspected, tested, and documented individually.
2. System complexity
   – More complex systems with multiple branches, filters, and controls take longer.
3. Access and layout
   – Difficult-to-reach ducts or fans may slow the process.
4. Availability of system information
   – If original design specs or previous reports are missing, extra time is needed to establish performance benchmarks.
5. On-site coordination
   – Delays can occur if machinery needs to be shut down or access is limited.
