How do you interpret the results of RCS monitoring?

Comparing the recorded exposure levels to the Workplace Exposure Limit (0.1 mg/m³ in the UK) is the first step in interpreting the findings of RCS monitoring.
Your controls are probably functioning well if the results are far below the WEL, but it is still a good idea to search for ways to further reduce dust. Action must be taken right away if levels become close to or beyond the limit. This includes reviewing control measures, looking into potential process modifications, and making sure PPE is appropriate and worn correctly.

It is also critical to consider long-term patterns rather than isolated outcomes. Long-term security is not ensured by a single low reading.
