How are rubber fumes and rubber dust generated?

Heating or burning rubber can create rubber fumes during activities like vulcanisation and moulding that contain compounds (VOCs) and other harmful substances that might be toxic to health. Similarly Rubber dust is formed when rubber undergoes abrasions like grinding, cutting or tire wear which can also lead to health hazards. It's crucial to ensure ventilation and use measures in workplaces where these fumes and dust particles can be produced to avoid any potential health risks.
