Ventilation systems play a role, in minimising exposure to welding fumes by drawing the particles away from your immediate breathing area and out of the workspace environment. These systems work by either purifying and recirculating the air or expelling the fumes to the atmosphere. Exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems such, as fume extractors are strategically positioned near the welding activity to capture and contain fumes at their origin point before they disperse.
This proactive approach does not help maintain air but also reduces inhaling excessive fumes during work processes for a safer working environment.
