Employees need straightforward and practical training on WBV. This training should include:
- Health impacts like back pain, joint issues, and circulation problems.
- Safe work habits, including proper posture and the use of suspension seats.
- Procedures for reporting concerns, so everyone knows how to voice their issues.
- Exposure limits, helping them understand the importance of breaks and job rotations.
Training doesn’t have to be overly complicated. Engaging sessions that relate risks to everyday experiences tend to be the most effective. Plus, having refresher courses every year or two can really help keep awareness up.
