Occupational noise exposure action levels are specific thresholds defined in the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 (UK).

1. Lower Exposure Action Values

Daily/weekly exposure (LEP,d or LEP,w): 80 dB(A)
Peak sound pressure (LCPeak): 135 dB(C)

2. Upper Exposure Action Values

Daily/weekly exposure (LEP,d or LEP,w): 85 dB(A)
Peak sound pressure (LCPeak): 137 dB(C)

3. Exposure Limit Values (Must Not Be Exceeded)

Daily/weekly exposure (LEP,d or LEP,w): 87 dB(A) (with hearing protection in place)
Peak sound pressure (LCPeak): 140 dB(C)
