The institute is the UK’s professional body for those working in acoustics, noise, and vibration. The Institute of Acoustics is a nominated body of the Engineering Council, offering registration at Chartered and Incorporated Engineer levels.

Out commitment to health and safety is demonstrated by participation in CHAS scheme. This scheme provides assessment criteria that health and safety professionals can apply to the health and safety element of their work. The scheme assesses adequacy and compliance of the health and safety policy statement, organisation for health and safety and specific arrangements to a single, common standard acceptable to CHAS members and users.
The institute of specialist surveyors and engineers is an organisations which aims to raise standards throughout the construction and built environment industry by representing the interests of both its members and the public. The ISSE is an assembly of building specialist educated and competent in assessing various aspect of the building environment from damp, mould to structural issues
