ADD TO BASKET

Exposure to benzene usually occurs in a wide variety of occupational fields. This chemical is produced from chemical plants, oil refineries, petrochemical industries, coke production plants, hazardous waste landfills, and petrol service stations. According to the European Chemical Agency (ECHA), the highest occupational exposures occur during the filling and loading of gasoline, and cleaning of tanks and receptacles. Because of its known carcinogenic properties (acute myeloid leukemia—acute non-lymphocytic leukemia), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified benzene as carcinogenic for humans (Group 1).
Our benzene biological monitoring kit has been developed to evaluate the relative concentration of benzene absorbed into the body via all routes of exposure (e.g. Inhalation, skin absorption and ingestion).

Step One:
Read the instructions and fill in the required documentation. Fill in the sample analysis consent form with unique identifiers to allow you to link the results with the correct people and processes.

Step Two:
Collect the urine sample either post-shift or once you finished working with the process. Follow the instruction for more specific sampling instructions.

Step Three:
Post the samples to our laboratory.

Step Four:
You will receive a report with the results and interpretation of the collected data.

Step Five:
Our qualified industrial hygienist will contact you and answer any questions you may have about the results or processes.
