Styrene is a high-production, hydrocarbon chemical used to manufacture polystyrene resins, which are widely used in plastic packaging, disposal cups and containers, insulation, adhesives, and in composite materials such as fiberglass. It is also used to produce synthetic rubber and latex. Because styrene is synthesized largely from ethylbenzene, it may be present in products made from styrene.
Our Styrene and Ethyl benzene biological monitoring kit has been developed to evaluate the relative concentration of Styrene and Ethyl benzene absorbed into the body via all routes of exposure (e.g. Inhalation, skin absorption, and ingestion).

Step One:
Read the instructions and fill in the required documentation. Fill in the sample analysis consent form with unique identifiers to allow you to link the results with the correct people and processes.

Step Two:
Collect the urine sample either post-shift or once you finished working with the process. Follow the instruction for more specific sampling instructions.

Step Three:
Post the samples to our laboratory.

Step Four:
You will receive a report with the results and interpretation of the collected data.

Step Five:
Our qualified industrial hygienist will contact you and answer any questions you may have about the results or processes.
