The process of welding belongs between important sources of pollution of the working environment with heavy metals and other harmful compounds including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. According to IARC classification the welding fumes are included into group 2B and are supposed as possible human carcinogens. Number of different epidemiological studies have proved the relationship between welding and serious health disorders namely malignancies.
Our Welding metals biological monitoring kit has been developed to evaluate the relative concentration of metallic components of welding fume absorbed into the body vial all routes of exposure (e.g. Inhalation, skin absorption and ingestion).
